Lugs, proportions, and leather: what differs across Hublot families

The Classic Fusion is the most represented family in our archive: 166 references out of 215 mapped models. Slim cases, narrow lugs, almost always 20 mm—the width alone covers 175 Hublot models. Here the strap works by subtraction: soft leather, minimal stitching, a profile that doesn't compete with the case.

The Big Bang shifts register: 36 references, lugs often wider, toward 24 mm—a width accounting for 23 models in our archive. The layered construction of the case demands more structure: shaped, firm padding. Milano Straps straps are designed for the main Hublot families: Classic Fusion, Big Bang, Spirit of Big Bang and MP Collection. The attachment is made to fit the original lug, with no adapters. To check your specific model you can look it up in the site's watch archive.

What lug width do Hublot watches have?

In the archive most Hublot models have a 20 mm lug width, a minority are 24 mm and a few are 21 mm. To know the exact size of your watch it is best to look it up in the Milano Straps watch archive, or use the "Find your watch's size" box on the product page.

How can I be sure of the size before choosing the strap?

The most reliable way is to look up your Hublot in the site's watch archive, which shows the correct lug width for each reference. Alternatively you can send a photo of the watch on WhatsApp to the atelier using the "Verify on WhatsApp" button on the product page, or photograph it on app.milanostraps.it, which recognises it automatically. The ruler should only be used as a last resort, measuring with calipers between the two lugs.

Which leathers are ready in the atelier for Hublot?

In the collection you will find Nylon, Calfskin, Alligator, Saffiano, Suede, Cordovan, Lizard, Stingray and Ostrich, with pieces already ready in the atelier for each leather. Every strap has its price shown on its product page, so you can choose directly online without going through the atelier.

Can I have a made-to-measure strap for my Hublot?

The made-to-measure service is not offered by Milano Straps: it is made by Casati Milano, the workshop based at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan, only by appointment. For information you go through the casatimilano.com website, with no contact forms or prices shown online.
