18mm Straps — A leather for every watch

Nubuck works differently: it absorbs skin oils, softens gradually, and develops a patina that shifts month after month. If you choose nubuck, you accept that the strap will tell the story of daily wear, not remain identical to day one.

Exotic leathers like alligator and ostrich have natural patterns—scales, follicles—that require calculated cutting: not every section of hide is usable, and this affects both the final result and how the strap flexes over time. Saffiano, by contrast, is a surface treatment that resists scratches through its stamped texture, but trades away the raw leather's natural character. Neither choice is right or wrong: it depends on what your watch needs and how you plan to wear it.
