Classic Strap and Bracelet Removal Tool
€15,00
SKU: MST-7000
Professional strap and bracelet removal tool, Classic size. CNC aluminium body and interchangeable stainless steel tips for safe work on both drilled and non-drilled lugs.
Features
- Precision CNC aluminium body, knurled grip
- Interchangeable stainless steel tips: V-shaped for non-drilled lugs, straight for drilled lugs
- Screw-on protective caps for the tips
- Metal case for transport and storage
- Standard bench size — mini version available separately
Which straps does it work with
Works on all standard spring bars for leather, rubber, FKM, nylon and silicone straps. For metal bracelets with side screws (Rolex Oyster, Jubilee, President) a dedicated screwdriver kit is required instead — the spring bars are not involved in those cases.
Watch compatibility
Tested on Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Panerai, IWC, Cartier, Tag Heuer, Hamilton, Seiko, Grand Seiko, Apple Watch and every watch with lugs from 14 to 26mm. The two tips cover both systems: standard spring bars (with or without a hole in the lugs).

Strap. Spring bar. Tool. Care.

The joy of little things
Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.

What lug sizes is the Classic tool compatible with?
The tool is tested on lugs from 14 mm up to 26 mm, covering nearly all watches on the market. The two included tips — V-shaped and straight — handle both spring bars with visible holes in the lugs and spring bars in closed lugs without holes. It has been verified on Rolex, Omega, Panerai, IWC, Seiko, Grand Seiko and Apple Watch references, among others. There are no limitations related to strap material: leather, rubber, FKM, nylon and silicone are all compatible.
When should I use the V-shaped tip and when the straight one?
The straight tip is inserted into the side hole of perforated lugs, directly engages the spring bar pin and allows precise leverage without slipping. The V-shaped tip is designed for closed lugs — without holes — and grips the spring bar body by working on lateral tension. Using the wrong tip increases the risk of scratching the lugs or causing the spring bar to snap uncontrollably. Changing the tip takes just seconds: unscrew the mounted one and screw on the other by hand.
Does the tool also work for disassembling Rolex Oyster or Jubilee metal bracelets?
No: Rolex Oyster, Jubilee and President bracelets use side screws in the links, not spring bars accessible from the outside. For these bracelets you need a dedicated screwdriver kit with 0.8–1.2 mm flat tips. The Classic tool is instead correct for removing the bracelet from the watch when the connection between case and bracelet is made via standard spring bars, a situation found on many other models even with metal bracelets.
Does the CNC aluminum body withstand continuous professional use?
The body is machined from solid aluminum with CNC processing, the same process used for precision mechanical components, and offers sufficient rigidity for thousands of use cycles without deformation. The interchangeable stainless steel tips resist oxidation and maintain tip profile even after intensive use. The knurled grip ensures control even with wet hands or work gloves. The screw-on protective caps preserve the tips when the tool is in the toolbox, avoiding dents that could compromise gripping precision.
What is the most common mistake when using this tool that leads to scratching the case?
The most frequent error is applying the tip directly onto the bezel or the case flank instead of positioning it in the gap between the lug and spring bar. The tip should be inserted at 45° into the lug, keeping the tool body parallel to the strap to distribute force on the pin and not on the plating. A second common mistake is using the straight tip on closed lugs: with no hole to rest on, the tip slips and can scratch the metal. It is always recommended to protect the case with 0.1 mm PTFE tape before working on valuable watches.
