Perforations are not a decorative detail. They originated on 1960s race tracks, when drivers needed a strap that breathed during races — and they have remained because they still work today. The Rally in natural calfskin by Milano Straps recaptures that geometry without romanticizing it: every hole is precisely placed, every stitch is hand-reinforced.
The natural-toned Italian calfskin has a unique quality that few materials can boast: it doesn't stay the same. In the first few months, it develops a patina that depends on how it's worn, the light it's exposed to, and the wrist it adorns. It's not wear and tear — it's character forming. Each strap, in the end, is unique.
The profile is deliberately essential: 2.5mm thick, reinforced stitching, no superfluous elements. It suits vintage chronographs as well as pilot watches, without aesthetic compromises. The natural, warm, and untreated tone works well with light dials, brushed cases, and applied indices. But it's neutral enough not to impose a mandatory pairing.
Each piece leaves the Milanese workshop with slight variations in shade compared to the previous one. It's not an imprecision — it's the signature of hand-worked leather, a sign that it's not a mass-produced item.

What sizes are available?
18, 19, 20, 22 and 24mm at the lug. The buckle size follows accordingly: 16mm up to 20mm, 20mm for 22 and 24mm. Let me know your watch and I will confirm the correct size for you.
How does it change over time?
The untreated natural calfskin develops a patina within the first few months. This depends on how you wear it, light exposure, and your wrist. It is not wear, it is the strap making itself yours.
Is the stitching done by hand?
Yes, the reinforced stitching on this Rally strap is done by hand in our workshop in Milan.
Which buckle should I choose?
Steel, yellow gold-plated, rose gold-plated, or black PVD. With light dials and burnished cases, steel remains the more understated choice, but the decision is yours.
Why does each strap have a slightly different shade?
This is due to the natural hand-worked leather: each piece leaves the workshop with slight variations in tone compared to the previous one. It is not a flaw, it is the signature of the leather.
