Suede is one of the most demanding materials to use in watchmaking: it requires expert hands to keep it flat, even, and precise along the lugs. The matte finish of suede absorbs light instead of reflecting it—a character opposite to shiny leather, quieter, more personal. The thickness gradually decreases from the lug to the buckle, for a natural fit on the wrist without stiffness.
