Handmade in Italy Selected leathers

Black and yellow don't ask for permission. They are the chromatic code of racing — on helmets, on the curbs of Monza, on the liveries of Porsche GTs, and on the dials of track chronographs. The Driver Black & Yellow brings that aesthetic to the wrist with the same understated confidence of someone who knows speed without having to shout about it.

This isn't a strap for those who want to go unnoticed. It's for those with a passion that deserves a detail capable of telling its story — even before the strap has a history with you.

The leather is full-grain calfskin, handcrafted in our Italian atelier. The edges are burned and sealed one by one, using the same technique as vintage GT saddlery. The yellow waxed polyester thread stitching is not mere ornamentation: it is the thread that literally holds together artisanal tradition and racing spirit.

The fine grain of premium Italian calfskin immediately conforms to the wrist, without the break-in period typical of stiffer leathers. It develops a patina over time, with character — every mark tells a story of miles traveled, not years spent in a drawer.

Black and Yellow Driver Leather Strap

It softens to your wrist.

It starts firm and, week after week, takes the shape of your wrist. The surface grows warmer to the touch, the colour gains depth where the light hits it. No plastic on top: leather that ages honestly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does this leather take to break in? I mean, if I actually use it and don't keep it in a drawer like a museum piece, how long does it hold up?

The full-grain calf leather we use develops patina over time — every mark it takes is real history, not deterioration. It doesn't have a painful break-in period like some stiffer calfskin: it yields immediately to the wrist. The point is it doesn't break, it ages. The edges are hand-burned and sealed, the yellow waxed thread stitching keeps the parts together. If you wear it, you'll see it change character with the miles — that's what you're after, I presume.

This black and yellow — is the yellow only in the stitching or is it also in the body of the strap?

The strap is black. The yellow lives in the stitching, in the waxed polyester thread that stitches the leather together. It's not decoration: it literally is the thread holding tradition and racing spirit together. It's visible when you wear it, not hidden.

Which width do I take if my watch has 20mm lugs?

We have the 20mm × 16mm which is the standard combination for that size. If your watch has particular lug geometries though (some vintage, some custom models), best to discuss it first — we also have 19mm × 16mm and 21mm × 18mm if you need different space. Compatibility ultimately depends on how your lugs are made.

If I buy it now, has this strap already been worked by someone before it reaches me, or is it truly virgin?

It's made in our Italian atelier by hand. Every detail — from the edges burned and sealed one by one to the stitching — is realized in the moment. It reaches you fresh from the workshop. The patina and character begin when you put it on your wrist: not when you open the box.

Can I put it on a watch that isn't a brand superstar? Like on a simpler automatic that I really love?

Yes, it's compatible with any quality timepiece. This isn't something we say to sell — the strap is proportioned for serious watchmaking, doesn't matter if it's a Rolex reference or a model only you know. If the watch deserves a detail that speaks, this strap speaks.
