Four ingredients. Nothing more.

Organic beeswax, shea butter, castor oil, and pure sweet almond oil: this is the formula for Milano Straps leather balm. Hand-poured in small batches, without additives, without production accelerators. The result is a conditioner that deeply nourishes the leather without altering its character—neither its color nor the patina you have built over time.

It works on box calf, barenia, alligator, ostrich, and any smooth tanned leather. It is not suitable for suede or nubuck: on those materials, the lipidic composition would act unpredictably.

A periodic gesture—not an obsessive routine. Applied with a soft cloth, dried gently, the balm restores to the strap or leather accessory the softness that time and use tend to take away.

Domande Frequenti

I have a barenia strap I've been wearing for years and the leather has lost some of its softness. Will this balm restore it to what it was before, or will it change the appearance anyway?

It restores softness without altering the character of the leather. It won’t change colour or the patina you’ve built over time — it brings the leather back to breathing as it should, nothing more. The idea is to return to the starting point, not to transform.

Can I use it on all smooth leathers, or are there exceptions I need to be careful about?

It works on box-calf, barenia, alligatore, struzzo, and any smooth-tanned leather. It is not suitable for suede or nubuck — on those materials the lipid composition of the balm would act unpredictably. If you are unsure about your leather type, it is better not to risk it.

Will you tell me how often to apply it, or does it depend on how I use the strap?

It is not an obsessive routine. It is a periodic gesture, in the sense that it depends on how much you notice the leather losing softness with use and time. There is no fixed frequency — observe the strap and intervene when it asks for it.

What exactly are the ingredients? I have sensitive skin and I want to know what I’m putting on.

Just four ingredients: organic beeswax, shea butter, castor oil, and pure sweet almond oil. No additives, no production accelerators. That is all. If any of these does not work with your skin, you will know right away.

How much balm is in a jar and how long will it last me for one strap?

It comes in 1 oz format — 32 ml, hand-poured in small batches. A modest amount, but the balm is used with a cloth, not by the handful. It depends on how many straps you treat and how often — but for reasonable use it lasts a long time.
