First you feel it under your fingers. Then you see it. Suede has this rare ability: it communicates even before the eye brings it into focus. This blue suede strap is one of those pieces that doesn't seek attention — it receives it.

The matte surface absorbs light instead of reflecting it. The blue chosen for this model is not fashionable electric blue, nor military navy: it's a vintage, lived-in shade that looks good on both light dials and brushed steel cases. The contrasting stitching defines the edges without overpowering — a detail of measure, not decoration.

At only 2.5mm thick, the strap lies flat on the wrist without adding bulk. Suede, in this format, is a precise choice: informal elegance, suitable for a dress watch to be worn out of context, or for a vintage piece to be re-evaluated.

Made in Italy. Each piece is crafted from leather with its own history — slight variations in tone between one example and another are part of the material's nature.

Blue Suede Strap with Stitching

It lives on light and touch.

It shifts tone depending on how you brush it: the short nap moves with the light. It marks, and those marks become its story. Kept away from water, it stays with you for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes are available for this strap?

I have two sizes in stock: 18mm and 20mm at the lugs, both with a 16mm buckle. Let me know your watch's diameter and we can work out right away which one to choose.

Does the 16mm buckle work on a 20mm strap?

Yes, that's perfectly normal. The strap tapers towards the wrist: it starts at 20mm at the case and narrows to 16mm where the buckle closes. The same applies to the 18mm version.

Is the blue always exactly the same from one piece to another?

No, and that shouldn't come as a surprise. It's genuine suede, not a print: every hide has slight variations in tone. That's part of the material's character.

Is this a bulky strap on the wrist?

Quite the opposite. It measures around 2.5mm thick, so it sits flat under the cuff without adding bulk. It also works well with a slim case.

What is the purpose of the contrast stitching?

It simply highlights the edge, nothing more. I chose to keep it fine on purpose, to give structure to the suede without weighing down the strap's line.
