You feel it first under your fingertips. The hand-brushed surface feels irregular, lived-in — not worn out, but as if it once belonged to someone else. This is what distinguishes vintage Italian leather from any industrial finish: each brush stroke leaves a unique mark.

The gray of this strap is not a neutral color. It is a deliberate choice — for those who prefer the watch to speak and the strap to listen. It naturally pairs with a sober dress watch as well as an ambitious field watch, never dominating nor disappearing.

Each piece leaves the Milanese workshop with its own identity. Slight variations in tone between different items are not flaws: they are the signature of handcraftsmanship. With time and daily use, the leather continues to change — accumulating character instead of wearing out.

Is the grey uniform across all pieces?

No, and this is not a flaw. The hand-brushed finish leaves slight variations in tone from one piece to another: it is part of the artisanal process.

Does it suit a dress watch or only a field watch?

Both. The grey is designed not to overpower the dial: it pairs well with an understated dress watch as much as with a field watch.

How does it behave with daily wear?

It changes, but it does not wear out. The vintage leather builds character over time: small marks of use that add to the original brushed finish.

Where is it made?

In my workshop in Milan, 100% made in Italy. The Italian vintage leather is hand-worked with the brushed finish you see on the strap.
