Italian Leather 20mm — Patek Philippe 3970

SIZE 20MM · ITALIAN LEATHER

Tuscany, 30-90 days. The leather that ages best.

A 20mm vegetable-tanned Italian leather strap changes behavior over time. The first few months it wears the rigidity of the tanning, then it begins to soften. At six months, you will have a patina that no industrial treatment can produce. The leather breathes, absorbs wrist sweat, and adapts. It's not perfect symmetry—it's real leather.

On a Patek Philippe 3970, a Tudor 79950, or a 20mm Omega, the Tuscan tan calfskin becomes the foundation. Come to the atelier at Via XX Settembre 15, Milan: you will touch the leathers, see them with your watch, and decide together. The strap doesn't exist until it's born on the watch.

Frequently asked questions

Which 20mm watches are compatible with an Italian leather strap?

Patek Philippe 3970, Omega 1566.56.00, Tudor 79950, Wyler Vetta WV0601 and WV0600. Always check the lug width on the watch with a calliper: exactly 20mm, no approximations.

Why choose Italian Leather for a 20mm watch?

Vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather on a 20mm lug creates natural proportions. Not stiff, not synthetic. Tan and cognac go with any steel. It improves over the years, it does not wear out.

How do you measure the 20mm lug? How do I check before ordering?

Use a caliper on the watch's spring bar — measure from hole to hole. 20mm is the space between the two pins. If you have doubts, contact the atelier: we will check with you before starting the strap.

How much does a 20mm Italian Leather strap cost?

From €80. The final price depends on finish, buckle and personalisation.

Can you order a 20mm Italian Leather strap made to measure in the atelier?

Casati Milano receives by appointment at Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. The leather is chosen together — the strap is created on the watch, not before.
