Strap for Max 02

The MAX02 features a 20mm lug width, the standard distance between the lugs that hold the strap. This dimension can be verified with a digital calliper positioned across the case, and is essential to ensure compatibility with aftermarket straps.

The choice depends on your intended use. For formal occasions, we recommend alligator or vegetable-tanned calf leather, which emphasise the sculptural aesthetic of the case. For daily wear, a cotton-nylon NATO or FKM rubber strap offers durability and practicality. For timeless elegance, natural shell cordovan develops a unique patina over time.

The strap is removed via the spring bars on the lugs. Using a spring bar tool or small flathead screwdriver, gently press one of the bars until one end of the strap is released. Repeat on the other side. Installing the new strap follows the reverse process, inserting the bars into the slots of the new strap.
