Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right spring bar size for my watch?
The spring bar size matches the lug width, so the first step is to check it. Look up your model in the Milano Straps watch archive, or use the "Find your watch's size" box on the product page. If you prefer a direct check, send a photo on WhatsApp to the workshop or photograph the watch on app.milanostraps.it: it recognises it on its own. Only as a last resort, measure between the two lugs with a calliper: never a ruler on its own.
Which steel does Milano Straps use for its spring bars?
Tempered Swiss Standard steel, the same technical reference you find on quality straps. They come in sizes from 13 to 24mm, so you can choose the spring bar that fits your lug precisely, not an in-between size that fits only approximately.
How much do spring bars cost?
The price starts from €12.95, depending on the size chosen. These are ready-made pieces, with the price shown directly on the product page.
Are the spring bars suitable for any watch?
They are available from 13 to 24mm, so they cover most lugs in circulation. But they should be chosen according to your watch's exact size, not by eye: a spring bar that is too short or too long won't hold the strap securely.
