Spring bars Omega 18mm — single diameter
€12,95
Set of two Omega 18mm spring bars, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. Specific size for Omega dress models with narrow lugs: De Ville Prestige, Constellation Manhattan small, Seamaster Aqua Terra 36mm, some Globemaster ladies.
The 18mm Omega is less common than the 20mm/22mm sport sizes but represents an important segment of the dress line. 1.8mm pin — the Omega standard for all modern production, different from the 1.5mm Rolex and the 1.8mm Datejust. The difference is noticeable on an Omega case: the wider pin holds better in Omega lug holes, which have slightly different tolerances from the Rolex system.
The same spring bars I use on every 18mm Omega that comes through the atelier.

Domande Frequenti
Do these 18mm bars work only on Omega or can I use them on other brands?
Technically, the 1.8mm pin diameter is Omega standard, but it also works on other brands with the same lug hole caliber — Longines, TAG Heuer, some IWC models have compatible lugs. The difference lies in tolerances: on an Omega the 1.8mm pin fits perfectly, on other brands it might be slightly loose. I recommend measuring your case lug hole before forcing it.
What is the difference between the 1.8mm Omega pin and the 1.8mm Rolex Datejust?
Both are 1.8mm in diameter, but Omega lug holes have different tolerances than Rolex ones — ours are calibrated to house the pin with a tighter fit. If you use these on a Rolex, the pin will enter but you’ll have slightly more play. Conversely, a Rolex pin on an Omega might be too tight.
Do these also work for Omega sports models 20/22mm or only for dress watches?
No, these 18mm are specific to dress watches. Seamaster and Globemaster sports models use 20mm or 22mm. If you have a vintage Seamaster Aqua Terra 36mm dress (the one with thin lugs), then yes; but for modern Aqua Terra 41mm models you need the 20mm.
How do I know if my Omega needs exactly these 18mm bars?
Measure the distance between the two lugs of your case — if it’s 18mm lug width, then you’ve found the right candidate. Then verify the lug hole diameter: it must be 1.8mm. If the model is a De Ville, small Constellation Manhattan or ladies Globemaster, it’s very likely the correct size. If you’re unsure, send a close-up photo of the lugs.
