The lug width of this model is 20mm. This is the distance between the two pins that attach the strap to the case. You can verify it by measuring directly with a digital calliper or ruler: it should measure exactly 20mm between the anchor holes.

It depends on your use case: for diving and aquatic environments, a natural vulcanised rubber strap or polyamide NATO; for formal daily wear, an alligator or vegetable-tanned leather; for general versatility, a soft calf in tobacco brown or black amplifies the watch's vintage character. Your choice should reflect your primary usage pattern.

Use a dedicated spring bar tool: insert the bifid tip under the anchor pin, apply gentle downward pressure until the pin is freed from its seat, then remove the old strap. Repeat on the other side. To install the new strap, insert the pins into the case openings and push until the locking click. Avoid excessive twisting, which could damage the seats.

Yes, any strap with a 20mm lug width is compatible. We recommend checking the thickness of the leather or material: straps that are too rigid may create excessive tension on the case, whilst overly soft straps will not ensure stability. Our 20mm straps are tested for this model and maintain original ergonomics.

A quality leather strap, with vegetable tanning, resists 3–5 years under normal usage conditions. Frequent immersion in fresh or salt water accelerates wear: in such cases, we recommend rotating with rubber straps. Regular maintenance—gentle cleaning and treatment with natural wax—significantly extends longevity and develops authentic patina.
