The lug width of this model is 19mm. Verification is performed by measuring with a digital calliper between the internal walls of the lugs. An 18mm strap would be loose, whilst 20mm would not pass through the lugs without forcing the metal.

It depends on usage. For vintage aesthetics: vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather in hazelnut or brown, which develops natural patina over time. For actual diving: FKM rubber, which does not rot in saltwater and maintains flexibility in cold temperatures. For versatility: NATO in cotton-polyester with quick-change. For refinement: alligator with pronounced grain.

Use a spring bar tool to remove the spring bar from the lugs. Extract the old strap, insert the new one by aligning it with the lateral holes, and reinsert the spring bar with firm pressure until it clicks into place. Simple operation, but if in doubt consult a watchmaker.
