Set of two spring bars for Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between the lugs. Pin diameter: 2.0mm. For the entire 1675 production, from 1959 to 1980 — the GMT that defined the model, with original Pepsi and Coke bezels.
The 1675 is one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex references, and also one of the most mistreated when it comes to strap changes. Drilled lugs, 2.0mm pins. Full stop. The modern 1.5mm doesn’t do its job here: I once saw a 1971 1675 lose its strap on the motorway because of the wrong spring bars. It was saved by pure luck.
When I work on a 1675 in the atelier, I always fit these spring bars. Original specification, the same diameter Rolex used.

What diameter are these spring bars?
2.0mm pins, sized for a 20mm lug width. This is the original specification for the 1675, not the modern 1.5mm standard.
Will these fit my 1675?
Yes, across the entire production run, from 1959 to 1980. Pepsi or Coke bezel, it makes no difference: the size is the same across the whole model.
Why can't I use 1.5mm spring bars?
Because they won't hold. I once saw a 1971 1675 lose its strap on the motorway because of the wrong spring bars. It survived by pure luck. On drilled lugs like these, the pin has to be 2.0mm, full stop.
Do you fit these yourself when working on a 1675?
Always. Whenever I have a 1675 in the Casati Milano atelier, I fit these spring bars. Same diameter Rolex used back then.
