The Grand Seiko Spring Drive SBGA299 is powered by the 9R65 caliber with Spring Drive technology, which combines the regularity of quartz with a mechanical power source. The movement provides hour, minute, central second, date and power reserve indication. The Spring Drive technology ensures an accuracy of ±1 second per month without the typical stepping motion of the seconds hand.
