Military green isn't for everyone. It demands a conscious choice – of style, material, and aesthetic stance. This NATO strap is made from 100% recycled polyester, crafted in Italy according to MS Lab standards: a product that reflects a precise idea of responsibility, without sacrificing structure or character.
The orange edge detail is not a pop compromise. It's a demarcation line between the dark background and the wrist – visible, calibrated, deliberately military in its inspiration. The 1.5mm thickness ensures smooth movement through the loops and prolonged comfort, even on sports watches with generous lug widths.
Buckle and loops made of 316L stainless steel: the same material used in quality watch cases. Rust-resistant, stable over time, with the right tension on the wrist.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use
Frequently asked questions
Can I get this NATO wet?
Yes, without any issue. It is eco friendly: recycled polyester Newlife®, made from plastic bottles, Made in Italy supply chain. Water and sweat will not damage it.
What sizes are available?
20mm and 22mm. The total length is 27cm, the same for both.
Does the buckle rust?
No. The buckle and keepers are made of 316L stainless steel. It resists rust and keeps its tension on the wrist over time.
Does it work on a sports watch with a wide lug?
Yes. The thickness is 1.5mm, so it slides easily through the keepers even on sports cases with a generous lug width.
Can I get this NATO with traditional spring bars instead of the quick release?
Yes, this can be made to order. Same price, about a week's wait. Just let me know the size, 20mm or 22mm.
