The Steinhart Diver T0210 features a lug width of 24mm. This non-standard measurement requires careful consideration when selecting an aftermarket strap. To verify correct measurement, use a digital calliper positioned perpendicularly between the two lugs on the outer side of the case. This precise tolerance ensures correct spring bar accommodation without play or involuntary detachment.

Strap selection depends on primary use and aesthetic preference. For restrained formality, we recommend alligator in vegetable tanning with natural grain texture or English calf with organic pull-up. To preserve the technical character of the model, a mil-spec nylon NATO or natural vulcanised rubber strap remain the most coherent options, offering superior functionality in humid or marine environments. A deployante buckle with micro-adjustments improves ergonomic comfort on leather.

To change the strap, obtain a spring bar tool. Position the watch on a soft, flat surface. Using the tool, apply gentle pressure to the inner end of the spring bar (the elastic pin). When tension releases, remove the lug from the attachment. Align the new strap hole with the spring bar end and reposition it into the housing. Verify that the lug is fully inserted and does not protrude.
