Set of two spring bars for modern Rolex and Tudor with drilled lugs, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Available diameters 1.5mm and 2.0mm depending on the reference. Designed for contemporary cases that retain the through-hole: Sea-Dweller 16600, Submariner 14060, GMT 16710 first series, Tudor Black Bay with drilled lugs.
Drilled lugs are disappearing from modern watches. The few that remain are almost all sport tools. It changes the way you work: the pin comes out with a direct pin pusher, no forked tool. And the diameter changes, because against an open hole you need more material to hold.
I use them in the atelier when I remove straps on these models. The same part my watchmaker fits during servicing.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Frequently asked questions
What diameter are these spring bars?
It depends on the reference. There are 1.5mm and 2.0mm versions. Against a through-hole lug more material is needed to hold in place, which is why the diameter differs from standard spring bars.
Will they fit my Submariner?
If it's the 14060, yes. They're designed for cases with drilled lugs: Sea-Dweller 16600, Submariner 14060, first-series GMT 16710, and Tudor Black Bay with drilled lugs.
How do you remove them, with a fork tool?
No. With a through-hole, the pin comes out with a straight punch. No fork tool needed, the process is different from a standard spring bar.
Are these the same ones a watchmaker would fit?
Yes. I use them at the bench when removing straps on these models, and it's the same part my watchmaker fits during a service.
Are drilled lugs still found on current models?
Less and less. They're almost all dated sport tool watches. On more recent Rolex and Tudor models, the through-hole has disappeared almost everywhere.
