Spring bars Rolex Submariner 16613 — 20mm
€12,95
Set of two spring bars for Submariner Date reference 16613, in hardened Swiss Standard steel.
Size: 20mm between the lugs. Pin diameter: 1.5mm. Compatible with all variants of the 16613 — two-tone steel and gold, production period 1988–2009.
Spring bars are the smallest part of the watch, but if they are wrong the strap shifts. For the 16613 this size always works. When I fit a new strap, I replace the spring bars as well. It is standard practice: the pin works every day, sooner or later it gives in.
The same ones I fit in the atelier on the straps I stitch for clients.

Domande Frequenti
But are these spring bars the same ones you install in the atelier when you stitch a new strap?
Exactly. These are the same bars I fit on straps I make for clients. When someone brings in a Submariner 16613 for a new strap, I change the pins as well. It’s not a discount—the pin works every day, eventually it gives way. It’s worth replacing.
I have a 16613 two-tone gold and steel: do these spring bars work the same?
Yes. They’re compatible with all 16613 variants—the two-tone steel and gold variations don’t matter. The reference is what counts, the production period 1988–2009 covers all versions. The lug width (20mm) is the only measurement that matters for this reference.
What is the exact size of these pins? I need to know before ordering.
1.5mm diameter. If you’re replacing your current ones, verify that first before installing. For the 16613 this size is the standard, but the diameter detail is there.
If the strap moves around on the wrist, could it be the spring bars?
First thing to check. A worn or incorrectly sized pin makes everything move—even the finest strap feels cheap. These are tempered Swiss Standard steel, and the diameter is correct for your reference. If you install them and the problem persists, then you look at the strap.
Are they common steel or do they have a special treatment?
Tempered Swiss Standard steel. No coatings or special treatments—it’s the right material for pins and the tempering does the job. With this construction they handle the daily cycle without premature failure.
