Set of two spring bars for Rolex GMT-Master 1675 in yellow gold, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between the lugs. Pin 2.0mm. Drilled lugs. The 1675 is the longest-running GMT-Master in history: from 1959 to 1980, in steel, gold and two-tone versions.
The gold 1675 is the travel GMT of the Sixties and Seventies. 18kt case, bakelite or aluminium bezel, Jubilee bracelet or gold rope chain. For the spring bars the specification is the vintage one: 20mm drilled, pin 2.0mm. Even on a gold case the pin remains hardened steel — the drilled hole requires the full diameter, and 18kt gold would not hold under load.

Do they also work on the gold case?
Yes. The pin remains Swiss Standard tempered steel even for the gold 1675. The drilled hole requires the full diameter, and 18kt gold would not withstand the load.
Are they suitable for all versions of the 1675?
I use them on the gold 1675, always the same spring bars for every piece that comes through the workshop. The specification is the vintage one: 20mm drilled, 2.0mm pin.
Are they also needed for the Jubilee bracelet?
The distance between the lugs relates to the case, not the bracelet: 20mm, 2.0mm pin, drilled lugs. This applies to both the Jubilee and the Oyster bracelet.
Why drilled lugs and not quick release?
Because the 1675 was designed with drilled lugs. The spring bars respect that specification: 2.0mm pin in tempered steel, 20mm size.
