Spring bars Rolex Daytona 116500 — 20mm steel
€12,95
Set of two spring bars for Rolex Daytona reference 116500, in tempered Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between the lugs. Pin 1.5mm. Drilled-through lugs. The 116500 is the steel Daytona with black ceramic bezel produced from 2016 to 2023 — one of the most sought-after Daytonas of the decade, with waiting lists lasting years.
The 116500LN replaces the 116520 with the major innovation of the ceramic bezel in place of steel. Movement 4130 unchanged, 40mm case, blind lugs and 1.5mm pin — the same specification as the Patrick family. The difference between the 116520 and the 116500LN on the strap side is purely aesthetic, the spring bars remain identical. Discontinued in 2023, replaced by the 126500LN.
The same spring bars I fit on my clients’ 116500. Same supplier.

Domande Frequenti
Will these spring bars work on my 116520, or are they specific only to the 116500LN?
They work perfectly on both. The 116520 and 116500LN have identical solid lugs and the same 1.5mm pin — the only difference is the ceramic bezel on the 116500LN. If your 116520 has solid lugs (which it does), these spring bars are identical to the original ones.
Is the pin really 1.5mm? I’m worried about making a mistake because I find contradictory information online.
Yes, 1.5mm is correct — Swiss Standard, like the entire Daytona family with solid lugs. If you’re coming from a generic strap, verify the old pin diameter with a digital caliper before installing: even a 0.1mm difference will immediately tell you if it’s wrong.
Can I use them to install a non-Rolex strap, like a Hirsch fabric one?
Yes, as long as the strap has 20mm lug holes and is compatible with 1.5mm pins. Check the specifications of the strap you want to install — many aftermarket straps don’t declare the pin diameter, in which case contact the manufacturer before ordering.
What is the real risk of installing them incorrectly? Can they come loose during use?
If the pin is correct (1.5mm) and properly positioned in the lugs, they won’t come loose — the friction is sufficient. The real risk is installing them with a wrinkled strap or oil-contaminated lugs: use a clean cloth, make sure the lugs are straight, and press firmly. If you feel resistance during insertion, don’t force it — check the alignment.
