Set of two Rolex spring bars 22mm × 1.8mm, in tempered Swiss Standard steel. The 22mm lug width covers the wider Rolex watches: Yacht-Master 42 (226658, 226659), Explorer II 226570 in certain versions, oversized cases from the 2000s. The 1.8mm pin is the correct specification on these larger lugs.
On 22mm lugs the geometry of the drilling is slightly different compared to the classic 20mm. The 1.8mm holds better under the greater load of a wide strap: more material, more resistance to deformation. The 1.5mm on 22mm shows — the pin works more than it should, and sooner or later it gives way.

Returns and exchanges

Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Are these suitable for my Yacht-Master 42?
Yes. Size 22mm × 1.8mm, correct for that model. The same piece I fit myself on these cases.
Why shouldn't I use the 1.5mm pin I already have?
On a 22mm lug it's undersized. It works harder than it should and eventually gives way. The 1.8mm holds up better under the load of a wide strap.
What material is it made of?
Hardened Swiss Standard steel. Two spring bars included in the pack.
Are they also suitable for a classic 20mm?
No. The recess on 22mm lugs has a different geometry. This size is designed for wider cases, not for 20mm.
Are these the same ones you fit at the Casati atelier?
