Set of two Swiss Standard hardened steel quick release spring bars. Pin diameter: 1.5mm. The difference lies in the flange with the integrated lever: the strap can be removed without a fork tool — simply pull the small lever with a fingernail or a thin awl. Designed for those who change straps often, even several times a day.
They are a compromise. They hold well under normal use, but the movable flange adds an extra stress point compared to the smooth pin. For heavy sports watches, NATO straps on a large wrist, or demanding use, the traditional pin is preferable. For casual straps changed frequently, quick release is the right way.
I keep them in my drawer for clients who rotate five different straps on the same watch.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Frequently asked questions
Is the 1.5mm quick release compatible with my watch?
It depends on the width of your lugs. These are universal for any lug-to-lug distance, but the 1.5mm pin must fit into the watch's existing holes. If your watch's holes are already drilled for standard 1.5mm pins, they will work. If the holes are wider or narrower, they will not work. Check the diameter of the holes before ordering them.
How well do they hold compared with a traditional smooth pin?
They hold up well in normal use, but the moving flange with the lever adds a point of mechanical stress. On heavy watches, NATOs worn with the strap pulled tight, or rough strap changes, the traditional spring bar is more reliable. The quick release is the compromise between convenience and sturdiness: choose it if you change straps often, not if you put it under stress.
Can I use them with my leather or rubber straps?
Yes, they work with any strap material. What matters is that the strap has holes drilled for the 1.5mm pin. If the holes are wider or misaligned, the pin does not hold well and slips. Check that the holes are precise before fitting them.
How do I fit the quick release? Could I damage anything?
Insert the pin from under the lug, push it all the way in. The lever engages on its own once the pin is in place. To remove it, pull the small lever with a fingernail or a thin pointed tool and the pin slides out easily. There is no risk of damaging anything if the holes are the right size: the stress point is on the lever, not on the watch.
