Set of Omega spring bars in hardened Swiss Standard steel, from 18mm to 23mm. Pin diameter: 1.8mm — the Omega standard for nearly all modern production. Covers Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation, De Ville and most contemporary Omega lugs.
Omega uses the 1.8mm pin. It is thicker than the 1.5mm Rolex pin and holds better on the narrow lugs typical of chronographs. If you fit an aftermarket strap on a Speedmaster with generic 1.5mm spring bars, sooner or later you will feel the play. I see them arrive in the atelier every month.
The set is useful when changing straps across several watches. Having the right size already in the drawer saves you from dismounting twice.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Frequently asked questions
Can I use these spring bars on a Seamaster 300M with straightened lugs?
Yes, but you need to check the width of your lugs. This set ranges from 18 to 23mm of usable length. If your Seamaster has 20mm lugs (the most common), choose the 20mm size from the set. The 1.8mm pin is the Omega standard, so it fits perfectly.
What is the difference between this 1.8mm and the generic 1.5mm straps you find online?
The 1.8mm Omega pin is sturdier and holds better on narrow lugs, especially on chronographs. With generic 1.5mm pins on a Speedmaster, you build up play over the months. It's not just thickness — it's a different temper and Swiss tolerances, not Chinese ones.
How do I know which size I need if I have several watches?
Measure from outer lug to outer lug on your watch, then subtract the diameter of the lug hole (usually 1.5mm per side). If you're unsure, a photo of the lugs helps. In the 18-23mm set you'll find practically all the Seamaster, De Ville and Constellation models.
If I change my strap every month, are these four pieces enough, or do I risk ruining them?
Four pieces of 1.8mm Swiss tempered glass withstand one hundred and fifty to two hundred insertions without issue if you fit them with the right tool. The damage comes from improvised tools or haste, not from the number of times you use them.
