Set of two Omega 19mm spring bars, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. Typical size of vintage Seamaster De Ville from the Sixties, early transitional pre-Moon Speedmasters, and certain Seventies Omega chronographs with oversized lugs.
19mm is one of the most characteristic sizes of vintage Omega. Speedmaster reference 105.003 Ed White and early 105.012 Moonwatch used 19mm before the definitive transition to 20mm. Seamaster 300 early series 165.024 also 19mm. Pin 1.8mm Omega standard, but on vintage lugs often drilled — better than a generic 1.5mm that wobbles in the hole.

Frequently asked questions
Is the 1.8mm pin really necessary, or could I use a generic 1.5mm one?
No, it's not a matter of choice. Vintage Omega lugs, especially on 1960s Seamaster 300 and Speedmaster models, have drilled holes that are slightly wider than modern standards — a generic 1.5mm bar rattles about inside and the strap moves on the watch. The 1.8mm matches the original Omega tolerance correctly and keeps the strap stable without forcing it.
Can I use them on a Seamaster De Ville I have from the 1960s?
Yes, the vintage De Ville uses 19mm like the Seamaster 300 from the same era. Just check the lug holes: if you see them lined with metal and corroded, check that the pin goes in and out without sticking — very worn lugs sometimes have a narrowed hole and the pin won't pass through.
Will this 19mm also fit a Speedmaster 105.003?
That's correct, the Ed White 105.003 came with 19mm as standard, like the 105.012 from the early Sixties. If your reference is an original 1960-1965, this is the correct diameter — the move to 20mm comes later with the modern Speedmaster Professional models.
If I have a 1970s Omega chronograph with oversized lugs, does the 19mm work?
It depends on the actual lug width. The 19mm refers to the diameter of the pin, not the width of the strap — if your watch requires a 20mm wide strap, you need the 20mm pins, regardless of the lugs. Check the size of the strap, not the year of production.
