Each section of the strap is crafted from selected alligator leather, processed in Italy with tanning and a matte finish that enhances the natural texture of the scales. The surface doesn't reflect, it speaks for itself — with the precise geometry that only true alligator can offer.
The tapered thickness ensures comfort on the wrist and smooth sliding into the buckle: 3.5mm at the lug, 2.5mm at the clasp. It's imperceptible. And that, in a watch strap, is the highest compliment.
It naturally pairs with dress watches and sporty chronographs with a clean dial. The dark grey matte doesn't impose — it complements.

I have a Seamaster 42mm with 20mm lugs. Will this strap fit properly or risk moving around?
We have the 20×16mm version which is the right one for you. The thickness tapers from 3.5mm at the lug down to 2.5mm toward the buckle, so you won’t feel stiffness: it seats smoothly and doesn’t shift. The matte dark grey pairs well with a blue or black dial on a Seamaster — don’t expect it to do what it isn’t, but for a sport dress watch it works.
Will the matte finish get dirty over time or lose its mat appearance? Do I need to treat it somehow?
Matte alligatore absorbs light rather than reflecting it — it’s not a coating, it’s the leather’s finish itself. With use it naturally develops a patina and history. It doesn’t require special treatment. What really matters: keep it away from excessive moisture and store it in a cool, dry place. alligatore hates staying wet.
How long is it? Can I use it if I have a small wrist or if I have to use the buckle on the last hole?
115mm on the long side, 75mm on the short side. It’s not adjustable, so what you see is what you get. If you know you have a small wrist and typically end up on the last holes, this is a question you need to ask us directly — the strap should fit your wrist, not the other way around.
Will natural alligatore always have slight color variations from strap to strap, or will I get one identical to my previous one if I reorder?
It’s natural leather. Slight tonal variations between specimens are part of how it works. If you bought one two years ago and reorder today, the dark grey will be recognizable but not identical pixel for pixel — that’s the price of authenticity. If this is a problem for you, tell me beforehand.
Does the strap arrive already paired with a buckle or do I use the one from my watch?
Here you get the strap. The buckle is yours — the one already on your watch. If you use interchangeable buckles, it fits here without issue thanks to the 2.5mm thickness toward the clasp. If you have questions about your specific buckle’s compatibility, ask me.
