At 21mm, Italian leather breathes differently. The Tuscan tan or cognac calfskin from the Vera Pelle Italiana Consortium absorbs the wrist, it doesn't stifle it. Vegetable tanning: 30-90 days with oak and chestnut tannin. Result: progressive softening, warm patina, no deterioration.
