For the BC3, we recommend alligator leather straps in cognac for formal-sport wear, NATO straps in grey or blue for a purely technical aesthetic, or black rubber for maximum versatility. The choice depends on intended use: leather for daily elegance, fabric for practicality and durability, rubber for wet environments. All must feature a compatible 22mm lug width.

Position the watch face-down on a soft surface. Use a spring bar tool to gently press the ends of the spring bar, allowing it to exit the case lugs. Repeat on the opposite side, remove the old strap, and insert the spring bar into the new strap, ensuring the attachment bars are properly aligned.

Any strap with a 22mm lug width is compatible with the BC3. Compatibility depends solely on strap width, not the watch brand. Ensure the strap you select specifies 22mm and that the attachment bars are correctly sized to accommodate the spring bar.

A quality leather strap (alligator, vegetable-tanned calf) subjected to regular wear typically lasts 3-5 years before requiring replacement. Longevity depends on exposure to perspiration, moisture, UV rays, and usage frequency.
