For refined durability, shell cordovan with natural patina develops a distinctive character. For humid environments or water sports, an FKM (fluoroelastomer) rubber strap offers practicality and resistance. Vegetable-tanned leather ensures marked grain and evolving patina over time.

The Oris BC3 features non-spring lugs: gently pull the old strap outward from the pins. Align the new strap's holes with the pins and push until it locks. No special tools are required unless the lugs are rounded. On titanium cases, avoid scratches by using straps with reinforced passants.
