The lug width of the Formex Essence 0330.1.6341.910 is 22mm. This measurement represents the internal distance between the two lugs of the case and is essential for selecting a compatible strap. To verify the measurement, use a digital calliper, inserting the point into the inner part of each lug.

The ideal strap depends on your lifestyle and dial colour. For formal occasions, we recommend an alligator strap in brown or vegetable-tanned calf leather in black. For everyday versatility, a military-grey or navy NATO strap is excellent. For sports or marine environments, a black FKM rubber strap offers grip and durability without compromise.

Strap changing is performed via spring-bar lugs. Use a dedicated tool to extract the spring-bar pins, applying gentle leverage on the spring. Once extracted, the old strap comes free. NATO and rubber straps have superior durability, spanning 5–10 years respectively.
