Set of two spring bars for modern Tudor, in Swiss Standard steel tempered to Tudor’s factory specifications. Size: 22mm between lugs. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. For Black Bay 41, Black Bay 58 (with internal 20mm reduction), Pelagos 42, Pelagos LHD, North Flag.
Tudor fits the same 1.8mm pin as Omega — not the 1.5mm of modern Rolex. It is a choice that makes sense: recent Tudor watches are heavier, more sporting timepieces, and the thicker pin holds better under load. On the titanium Black Bay 41 I have seen this firsthand, replacing the original spring bars worn out after five years of daily use.
For the Black Bay 58 with 20mm lugs, the 20mm × 1.8mm size is required instead. Same pin diameter, different width.

Are these spring bars compatible with all modern Tudor models or only specific ones?
They are compatible with Black Bay 41, Black Bay 58 (with internal reducer), Pelagos 42, Pelagos LHD, and North Flag. All of these models feature a 22mm lug width and 1.8mm pins. If you own an older Tudor or a different model, verify the pin diameter first: if it is 1.5mm, they are not compatible.
What is the difference between Tudor’s 1.8mm pin and modern Rolex’s pin?
Rolex uses 1.5mm, Tudor uses 1.8mm — this is a deliberate choice because recent Tudor models are heavier and sportier watches, and the larger pin withstands daily stress better. I have personally verified this on a Black Bay 41 in titanium after five years of use: the 1.8mm pin holds up considerably better.
Can I use these spring bars on a standard Black Bay 58?
The Black Bay 58 has slightly narrower lugs than other models, so an internal reducer from 20mm to 22mm is required. If your strap has this reducer, our spring bars work perfectly. Without the reducer, they will not fit.
How often do they need to be replaced? Is there a risk of breakage and the watch falling off?
Hardened Swiss Standard steel spring bars last several years, depending on daily use and how frequently you change straps. If you subject them to heavy stress, they should be inspected every 18-24 months. The risk of breakage exists but is rare with quality components — and these meet that standard, using the same specification I use on my own straps.
