Set of two spring bars for Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 16600 blind lugs version, in tempered Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between the lugs. Pin 1.5mm. Blind lugs. The 16600 is the Sea-Dweller produced from 1989 to 2008 — blind lugs version for the 2003-2008 productions, before the transitional 16660-MR and then the 116600.
The blind 16600 marks the Sea-Dweller’s transition towards modernism. Closed lug holes, 1.5mm pin, removal only from the side. The 1220m depth standard with helium escape valve remains, but the strap geometry becomes that of the modern Submariner 16610 without holes. A production standardisation choice by Rolex typical of the period.

Are these spring bars only suitable for the Sea-Dweller 16600 with blind lugs?
They are designed for that reference, blind lug version, 20mm lug width, 1.5mm pin. I cannot confirm compatibility with other versions of the 16600.
Why can't they be removed from the centre like traditional spring bars?
The hole is closed. Removal is only possible from the side, as required by the geometry of the blind lugs.
What material is it made of, and does it withstand daily use?
Hardened Swiss Standard steel. These are the same spring bars fitted on every 16600 with blind lugs, from the same supplier.
Is the pin diameter compatible with my strap?
The pin is 1.5mm, with a 20mm lug width. Please check these two measurements on your strap before ordering.
Can I have quick release spring bars for this watch?
The traditional spring bars here are already the base product. If you are looking for a made-to-order quick release version, let me know which strap you have: it costs the same and takes about a week.
