Spring bars Rolex Oyster Perpetual — set for the line
€12,95
Set of two spring bars for Rolex Oyster Perpetual, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. The OP is the simplest Rolex in the catalogue: 28mm, 31mm, 34mm, 36mm, 39mm cases, and now also 41. Lugs from 15mm up to 21mm. Pin 1.5mm or 1.8mm depending on the reference.
The OP is the first Rolex for many collectors. The vintage 1002, the 14000 from the Nineties, the 114200 and the current 124300 are simple machines, designed to be worn every day. The spring bars wear out sooner — you change the strap more often.
The same spring bars I fit in the atelier. Indicate the exact OP reference in the notes, I will choose the diameter.

Domande Frequenti
How do I know if I need 1.5mm or 1.8mm pins for my OP?
It depends on the reference and production year. Vintage OPs (1002, 1007) and 1990s models (14000) use 1.5mm; from 114200 onwards it’s 1.8mm. The safest way is to measure the lug hole with a digital caliper, or provide the exact reference in the notes and I’ll verify it for you.
Can I use these spring bars on non-Rolex watches with the same lug dimensions?
Yes, if the lug has the same width (15-21mm depending on the OP model) and the pin hole is 1.5 or 1.8mm. They are hardened Swiss Standard steel, nothing Rolex-specific. What matters is that the dimensions match, not the watch brand.
Do spring bars really wear out faster on OPs compared to other Rolex models?
Yes, because OP owners often change straps frequently — it’s in the spirit of these watches, simple and versatile. Every strap change slightly fatigues the bar. If you keep it on one strap it lasts for years; if you change it every two months it will obviously wear out sooner.
How many times can I load and unload the spring bar before needing to replace it?
With hardened steel like this, at least 100-150 cycles without issues. If you notice the spring starting to struggle holding the strap, or the pin entering/exiting too easily, it’s time to replace it. It’s not a risky operation if you use the correct tool.
