Rose Gold Rolex Spring Bars — 20mm × 1.8mm
€20,95
Set of two spring bars for Rolex in rose gold, in tempered Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between lugs. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. Compatible with transitional Rolex Everose 36-40mm cases: Datejust 36 rose gold, Day-Date 36 rose gold from the 2000s, Daytona 116505 first generation.
On the transitional rose gold Rolex, the pin drops from the 2.0mm vintage to 1.8mm before reaching the modern 1.5mm. It is the correct specification on Everose cases from the early 2000s. Rose gold has different characteristics from yellow gold, but the steel pin remains the same — what deforms is the case, never the pin.
The same spring bars I fit on transitional rose gold Rolex watches. Same supplier.

Domande Frequenti
Do these 1.8mm spring bars work on all rose gold Rolex watches, or only specific models?
Only on Rolex Everose transition models from the early 2000s: Datejust 36, Day-Date 36, and Daytona 116505 first generation. The 1.8mm pin is the correct specification for that period. If your Rolex is vintage (pre-2000) it will have 2.0mm pins; if modern (post-2010 approx.) it will be 1.5mm. Check the case before ordering.
Why is the pin made of steel and not rose gold like the bracelet?
Tempered Swiss Standard steel is harder and more resistant to load stress than rose gold in the critical zone. On a Rolex Everose, if the pin deforms, it is always the case that yields, never the pin. The rose gold from the 2000s is softer than steel — this is normal and controlled.
Can I use these 1.8mm on a newer or older rose gold Rolex?
No, you risk damaging the lugs. Vintage Rolex Everose (1990s) have 2.0mm lugs, modern ones (2015+) have 1.5mm. The 1.8mm is a specification restricted to transition models from 2000-2010. If you are unsure, measure the case hole with a caliper.
How do I correctly install these spring bars without damaging them?
Use a dual-end spring bar tool, gently rest the bar in the holes and press inward until the pins enter the lugs. Never force: if it resists, check that the diameter is actually 1.8mm. Rose gold is soft — the pin must never vibrate inside the hole.
