Spring bars OP 34 gold — 19mm drilled lugs
€12,95
Set of two spring bars for Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34mm in yellow gold with drilled lugs, in tempered Swiss Standard steel. Size: 19mm between the lugs. Pin 1.8mm. Drilled lugs. Compatible with vintage gold OP 34 produced from the 1960s through the 1980s — references such as 1002, 1003, 6552, 14008.
The vintage gold OP 34 is one of the purest pieces Rolex has ever made: three hands, 18kt gold, no complications. Narrow 19mm drilled lugs, 1.8mm pin — the correct specification of the era. Few straps are made in 19mm in fine leather, and those one does find often lack the proper spring bars. At Casati Milano we have both: 19mm stock and dedicated spring bars.
The same spring bars I fit on every drilled gold OP 34 that comes through the atelier.

Domande Frequenti
Are these spring bars compatible with all vintage OP 34 gold models, or only specific references?
They are compatible with OP 34 gold models featuring 19mm drilled lugs and 1.8mm pins — including references 1002, 1003, 6552, 14008 and similar from the 1960s-1980s. If your lugs are not drilled or have different dimensions, this is not the right solution. We recommend measuring the lug width and pin diameter before ordering.
Is the 1.8mm pin the correct specification for OP 34 gold, or is it a universal standard?
It is the correct specification for the original OP 34 gold from that era — it is not universal. Rolex used 1.8mm pins on these models with 19mm drilled lugs. If you use pins of different diameter, the bracelet will be loose or won’t fit at all. This is one of the details that makes finding correct bracelets for these watches difficult.
They are Swiss Standard tempered steel: could they scratch or be damaged over time with frequent strap changes?
Swiss Standard tempered steel performs well, but if you change straps frequently, the inevitable impacts will leave marks — this is normal. The tempering makes them resistant to fracture, not to surface scratches. If you want to keep them in perfect condition aesthetically, avoid using them as a continuous change; if you treat them as a tool, they last without issues.
Can I use these spring bars with non-Rolex straps, or only with Casati?
They are standard 19mm bars with 1.8mm pins — they work with any strap featuring 19mm drilled lugs, not only Casati. The key requirement is that the strap is designed for drilled lugs in that size. There is no lock-in: they are universal replacement parts for this specific size.
