Set of two spring bars for Rolex Daytona reference 126500, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.5mm. Blind lugs. The 126500 is the new steel Daytona introduced in 2023 with calibre 4131 and revised case — the first new Daytona movement after twenty years of the 4130.

The 126500LN updates the 116500 with 2023 technology. In-house calibre 4131 with slightly improved power reserve, black or white ceramic bezel, case with subtly reworked lines. Blind lugs and 1.5mm pin: same specification as the previous 116500 — Rolex keeps the modern standard pin for consistency. The movement changes, not the strap fitting.

Same spring bars for clients’ new 126500.

Domande Frequenti

Do these spring bars also work on the 116500 I had before?

Yes, perfectly. Rolex maintained the 1.5mm pin on both the 116500 and the new 126500, so the bars are identical. The only differences between the two models are the internal movement and some aesthetic details on the case, but the lugs remain the same.

Is it worth buying original Rolex spring bars or are yours fine?

Honestly, there’s no functional difference. Hardened steel Swiss Standard, 1.5mm pin, same diameter: a spring bar is a spring bar. Original Rolex bars cost three times more because they say Rolex, not because they hold the strap better. Choose based on budget.

If I install a 20mm strap on this Daytona, won’t the pin stick out of the lug?

No, the pin remains perfectly contained. The Daytona has solid lugs (not drilled through), so the 1.5mm pin fits within the lug thickness without protruding. If the strap is 20mm wide, it fits without any issues.

How delicate is the 1.5mm pin? If the strap falls, is there a risk it bends?

The pin is hardened, so more resistant than you’d think, but it’s still a thin diameter: a drop from a table onto the tip could bend it slightly. It’s not fragile, but it’s not indestructible either. We include a set of two anyway, so you have a spare if something happens.
