Set of two spring bars for Rolex Daytona 116505 and 116515 in Everose rose gold, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 20mm between the lugs. Also compatible with the subsequent 126505 and 126515 in rose gold. Blind lugs, 1.5mm pin — the modern Rolex specification for the 40mm Daytona cases.
Everose gold is Rolex’s patented rose gold alloy, stable over time and resistant to discolouration. The case lugs remain in gold, but the pin that supports the strap is hardened steel. On the gold Daytona this technical choice is crucial: 18kt gold deforms under the cyclical load of a leather strap.

Are these spring bars compatible only with rose gold Daytona or do they work on other Rolex models?
They are specific to Daytona 116505/116515 and subsequent 126505/126515 in rose gold, all with 20mm lugs and 1.5mm pins. On other Rolex models with different dimensions (Submariner, GMT, etc.) they do not fit: the 1.5mm pin is the modern specification for 40mm Daytona cases, not standard on other calibers.
Why do you use tempered steel instead of rose gold like the case lugs?
Because 18kt Everose gold, while stable in color, is soft and deforms under cyclic loading from leather straps. Tempered steel maintains its shape over time and does not thin out. On rose gold Daytona, it is the technical choice that truly works.
Can I use these spring bars on a rose gold Daytona with a metal bracelet instead of leather?
Yes, the bracelet material does not affect compatibility: the 1.5mm pin is the correct specification for the 20mm lugs of the rose gold Daytona, regardless of bracelet material. However, with metal the load is more constant, so tempered steel is even more appropriate.
Do these spring bars need to be installed cold or do they require special tools?
They are installed manually with a standard spring bar tool: position the 1.5mm pin in the blind slot and compress gently from the opposite side. They do not require excessive force; if you struggle, check that the pin is perfectly aligned with the case hole.
