Set of two spring bars for Rolex Datejust, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. The Datejust is the line with the greatest number of variants in the Rolex catalogue: 26mm, 28mm, 31mm, 36mm, 41mm. Lugs from 13mm up to 21mm. Pins typically 1.5mm or 1.8mm depending on the reference.
The Datejust 36 with blind lugs is the most common: 20mm × 1.5mm. The modern 41 rises to 21mm × 1.5mm. The ladies’ 26 and 31 have narrow lugs, 13mm or 17mm, with 1.8mm pins. Knowing the correct combination prevents fitting a strap that wobbles or does not seat properly.

I have a Datejust 36 with solid lugs: which sizes do I need?
20mm × 1.5mm. This is the most common combination for the 36. If you’re unsure, check whether the current strap enters without forcing: if the bar is too wide, the strap will rattle; if it’s too tight, it won’t fit at all.
My Datejust is a ladies 31mm: which pin should I order?
Ladies 26 and 31 use 1.8mm pins, not 1.5. The lug length depends on the reference: typically 17mm for the 31, but some versions have 13mm. Check the manual or measure the old lug directly before ordering.
Can I use the same bars for different Datejust models?
No, which is why I ask for the exact reference in the order notes. A 36 is not compatible with a 41 (which is 21mm), and a ladies is not compatible with a gent’s. A wrong bar will either ruin the strap appearance or won’t fit at all.
How do I install them without risking damage to the case?
Use a professional spring bar tool, not improvised solutions. The bar should be inserted parallel to the wrist, pushing gently until you feel the click. If you force it, the pin risks going in crooked and marking the case. If unsure, have it done at an atelier: two minutes of work, zero risk.
