Set of two quick release spring bars with curved profile, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. The curvature follows the lugs of watches with a domed caseback — Speedmaster Professional, Seamaster 300, vintage 1960s cases in general. The integrated lever allows strap changes without a spring bar tool.
Straight spring bars on curved lugs always create a small gap between strap and case. On a flat watch it goes unnoticed. On a Speedmaster it doesn’t: the strap appears to float. The curved profile eliminates the problem and makes the leather sit flush against the case as it should.
I have seen them make the difference on a Speedmaster Moonwatch fitted with a custom Casati. They are worth the difference.

What lug width do these curved spring bars work with?
They are universal: the pin diameter is 1.8mm, so they adapt to any lug width as long as the lugs have standard 1.8mm holes. The curvature is designed for domed lugs typical of Speedmaster and Seamaster 300 models, but they work on any watch with a curved caseback — vintage or modern.
What is the real difference between these and a straight spring bar on a domed lug?
A straight spring bar creates a gap between the strap and case because the linear profile does not follow the curved geometry of the lug. On a Speedmaster, the strap visibly floats and does not fit properly. Our curved design eliminates the gap: the strap contacts the case along the entire lug, as it should.
Can I use them on a watch with flat lugs?
Technically yes, the pin is standard 1.8mm. However, the curved profile on a flat lug leaves empty spaces between the spring bar and hole — not a functional issue, just less aesthetic. If you have flat lugs, a straight spring bar is the better choice.
Are they really quick release? How does the lever work?
Yes, it is integrated into the spring bar itself. Press the small side lever toward the watch center and the pin disengages — change straps without a tool. It is a reliable system, faster than using the tool, but requires some practice the first few times.
