Set of two quick release spring bars with curved profile, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. The curvature follows the lugs of watches with a domed caseback — Speedmaster Professional, Seamaster 300, vintage 1960s cases in general. The integrated lever allows strap changes without a spring bar tool.
Straight spring bars on curved lugs always create a small gap between strap and case. On a flat watch it goes unnoticed. On a Speedmaster it doesn’t: the strap appears to float. The curved profile eliminates the problem and makes the leather sit flush against the case as it should.
I have seen them make the difference on a Speedmaster Moonwatch fitted with a custom Casati. They are worth the difference.

La gioia delle piccole cose
Acciaio inox 316L lavorato, non stampato. Le tolleranze sono quelle delle specifiche originali — la spring bar entra dove deve entrare, non quasi.
Il 316L è acciaio chirurgico, lo stesso che le manifatture svizzere usano sulle casse. Resiste meglio all'ossidazione del comune acciaio inox e non lascia segni sul fondello quando si smonta il cinturino.
La differenza con le barrette stampate la vedi al primo cambio: una lavorata di precisione si inserisce pulita nelle anse, regge la torsione laterale, dura nel tempo. Una stampata ha dimensioni inconsistenti, perno che cede sotto sforzo, vita breve.
Sono quelle che uso anche io quando monto i cinturini.
