Spring bars Omega 23mm — single diameter
€12,95
Set of two 23mm Omega spring bars, in tempered Swiss Standard steel. Pin diameter: 1.8mm. Sized for larger Omega cases: Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm, Seamaster Ploprof 1200m, certain Speedmaster Racing models with wide lugs, and several oversize Constellation Sedna cases.
The 23mm Omega is the largest size in current production for most sport models. The lug recess is wider than on the 21mm and 22mm — the specification becomes critical, because without a precise standard the pin shifts. The 1.8mm Omega, however, performs well even at this size: the diameter remains the same, only the bar length changes. Compatible with most Planet Ocean references.
The same spring bars I fit on clients’ 23mm Omega watches. Same supplier.

Domande Frequenti
Does the 23mm Omega fit all my Omega sports watches?
No, it depends on the width of the lug cavity. The 23mm is designed for models with wide lugs such as the Planet Ocean 45.5mm, the Ploprof 1200m, and some Speedmaster Racing. If the cavity is narrower, you need the 21mm or 22mm. Always measure the distance between the lugs before ordering.
Why doesn’t the 1.8mm pin on such a large 23mm spring bar rattle?
Because the pin diameter doesn’t change, only the length of the bar does. The 1.8mm Omega is calibrated to hold firm even on wider cavities thanks to precise manufacturing tolerance — it’s no accident that it’s the standard pin diameter for this size on Omega.
Can I use these spring bars on other brands with 23mm lugs?
It depends on the pin diameter of that brand: if it uses the standard 1.8mm, yes. If it uses 2.0mm or 1.6mm, no — the pin won’t fit or will rattle. With the 23mm Omega the risk is greater because the cavity is wide and the pin must be precise to a tenth of a millimeter.
What happens if the cavity is too wide for the 1.8mm?
The strap will tilt and may slip out of the lugs. It’s not a breakage issue, it’s a matter of safety and stability. If you notice that the 23mm rattles even after installation, go back to the 22mm or ask your watchmaker to check the cavity — it might be out of spec.
