Gray Ostrich Leather Apple Watch Band
SKU: APL-404-GRY-SS-1
Ostrich leather is not chosen for discretion. Its grain – that constellation of natural bumps distributed with no apparent logic – is a visual signature that cannot be confused with anything else. In grey, it becomes something more subtle: it doesn't shout, but it gets noticed.
Each strap is crafted from a single panel of selected ostrich leather, handmade in Milano Straps' Milanese workshops. Variations in texture and tone between pieces are not defects – they are proof that no two pieces are identical to yours.
The tapered profile hugs the wrist without bulk. The slim 2.5mm thickness balances the material's presence with an all-day wearable lightness. Compatible with the Apple Watch range with 20mm–22mm lugs.

The quills that make it unique.
Its raised follicles are never two alike: you recognise it at a glance. Soft and resilient at once, with natural oils it stays supple and gains sheen where the wrist works it.

Frequently Asked Questions
I like that each piece is different, but how do I know that the ostrich grain I see in the photo is actually the one I will receive?
You will not receive it identical. Each strap is born from a single panel of selected ostrich leather, and that constellation of natural quills is always unique. The variations in texture and tone from one piece to another are not defects — they are proof that yours has no twin. If the idea of receiving something slightly different from the photo creates anxiety for you, this may not be the right product for you. If, on the other hand, you embrace it, you know you will truly own a unicum.
I would wear this strap all day, even in the office. Doesn’t ostrich become sticky on the wrist in the heat?
The thickness is 2.5 mm and the profile is tapered: it is not built to be heavy or bulky. Ostrich leather has a characteristic natural texture that breathes differently from other materials. As for its behaviour with the heat and humidity of your wrist, that is a consideration that touches on your biology and the environment where you live — what I can tell you is that the contained profile and the tapering are designed specifically for all-day wearability.
I have an older Apple Watch, series 3. Is this strap compatible, or is it only for the newer models?
Compatibility is based on the lug, not the series. If your Apple Watch uses 20mm–22mm lugs, the strap is compatible. Verify which lug size your model has and you are set.
Does ostrich leather scratch? How does it age compared to what I wear today?
Ostrich has that natural quill grain which is already a tactile and visual signature — it is not a smooth surface like calf. How it ages over time, how it reacts to scratches and daily wear compared to what you wear now: these are questions about the patina of the material that go beyond the technical data I can give you. What we know is that it is handcrafted in Milanese workshops, but its behaviour over time on your wrist is something you will discover by wearing it.
115mm and 75mm in length: are these the right measurements for my wrist, or do I risk it being too loose or too tight?
Those are the lengths of the two segments of the strap. If you know your wrist circumference, you can assess whether 115mm (long side) + 75mm (short side) together give the fit you are looking for. If you do not know how to measure yourself or are unsure whether these proportions suit your wrist, that is the question to ask before ordering — it is not something that can be adjusted afterwards.
