Frequently asked questions

Who makes Milano Straps straps?

Milano Straps is Antonio's workshop, in Milan. Each strap is made by hand, with leathers selected one by one before being worked. The pieces you see among the new arrivals are already ready, finished, and meant to be chosen and shipped without any wait for made-to-order work.

Which leathers can I find among the new featured straps?

Calfskin is the most present leather in this collection, with suede and cordovan following in number of ready pieces. The selection is completed by straps in saffiano, recycled polyester and rubber, useful for those looking for a more technical or water-resistant piece compared to classic leather.

Where can I see the price of a Milano Straps strap?

The price is shown on the page of each ready-made strap, together with the leather and the finishing details. There's no need to ask elsewhere: you can choose the piece directly online, with the price already visible before you decide.

Are Milano Straps straps made in Milan?

Yes, each strap is made by hand in Antonio's workshop in Milan. The leathers are selected and worked there before becoming ready pieces, the ones you find on display among the new arrivals and can choose online.

How do I find my watch's lug width before choosing a strap?

The safest way is to look up your model in the Milano Straps watch archive, or use the "Find your watch's size" box on the strap's page. If you can't find it, send a photo via WhatsApp to our team or take one on app.milanostraps.it, which recognises the size automatically. Only as a last resort should you use a calliper between the two lugs.
