Hornback — Taglio Dorso
Hornback is the leather cut from the back of the animal, particularly from alligator and crocodile. I distinguish it by the presence of dorsal bone-horn crests — the "horns" — that create an irregular, rustic texture with strong character. It's my choice for those seeking a watch strap with marked personality, an excellent match with sports and diving watches. It's more economical than belly cut because hornback yields more pieces per hide.
