This measurement represents the free space between the two lugs of the case: it must be measured with a digital calliper from the inner shoulder of one lug to the inner shoulder of the other. Procedure: position the watch with one lug facing upward, insert the tool into the micro-slot of the pin, gently push inward to retract the pin by 1–2mm, remove the used strap, align the new strap holes with the lugs, and reinsert the pin until it clicks into place. Avoid forceful manipulation that could scratch the case.

Any strap with a standard 24mm lug width is compatible with the Seiko Prospex Land SNE421P1, regardless of original brand.
