The lug width is precisely 20 millimetres. This standard measurement ensures broad compatibility with artisanal and aftermarket straps. To verify this measurement, position a digital calliper perpendicularly between the lug shoulders at the narrowest point of the seat, excluding the case attachments.

Choice depends on intended use. For formal elegance and durability: alligator with vegetable tanning. For daily versatility: calf leather with hammered grain texture. For diving performance: FKM rubber or polyamide 6.6 NATO. All materials are compatible due to the 20mm lug width.

Use a spring bar tool to extract the elastic pins securing the strap to the two case lugs. Insert the tool into the lateral slot of the pin, apply gentle inward pressure, and carefully remove. Install the new strap by operating in reverse, ensuring the pins click correctly into their seats.
