Strap for Aquis Date 41.5 Relief Stainless Steel / Cherry / Bracelet

The lug width of this model is precisely 22mm, a standard width for the 41.5mm diving watch. Measurement should be taken between the two metal shoulders of the strap slot using a digital calliper or ruler. This precision ensures stable fit and uniform contact with the strap passage.

Dark brown alligator with developed patina imparts sartorial elegance, whilst calf leather with vegetable tanning ages naturally over time. For intensive aquatic use or marine environments, we recommend FKM rubber, resistant to UV rays and salt corrosion. Cordura fabric NATO is the choice of professional divers for its practicality and reversibility.

Procure two small flat-ended tools (spring bar tool). Position the watch with the lug side facing you. Insert the tip into the groove beneath the spring and push downward, releasing one end of the spring. Remove the old strap. Repeat on the opposite side. To install the new 22mm strap, align the spring with the seat, press until click engagement, then repeat on the other side.

All straps with 22mm lug width are compatible. We recommend superior quality leather (alligator, calf, shell cordovan), spring bars in 316L stainless steel for marine resistance, and passages proportionate to the case diameter. Avoid straps exceeding 4.5mm thickness at the passage zone, as this could create tension on the spring.

A quality leather strap lasts 2-4 years with moderate daily use and regular maintenance (cleaning, conditioning). Salt marine exposure, perspiration and UV rays significantly reduce this duration. FKM rubber is more durable (5-7 years) in frequent immersion contexts, whilst NATO lasts 3-5 years whilst maintaining greater reversibility.
