The IWC Pilot IW324008 (reference 3240-08) is a compact 36 mm steel case watch that traces its heritage to the 1936 RAF-commissioned pilot's watch. It features a white dial with luminescent Arabic numerals, sword-shaped hands, and a manually wound IWC caliber 35111 movement with hours, minutes, seconds, and date window at 3 o'clock. The brushed and satin-finished steel case has a fixed lug width of 20 mm, directly connecting this model to the original 1940s and 1950s designs.
