Each lizard skin has its own topography. The scales change size and orientation depending on the area of the hide, making each strap technically unique. The protective treatment applied during finishing ensures resistance to moisture without altering the natural softness to the touch — two qualities that generally exclude each other, yet coexist here.
Entirely made in Italy, this strap is available in six sizes to fit a wide variety of watches, from sporty 40mm cases to more elegant timepieces with narrow lugs. The length is calibrated for standard-sized wrists, with holes distributed for a precise fit.

It depends on the exact lug width. The Lizard is available in six sizes: 18×16, 19×16, 20×16, 21×16, 22×20, 24×20mm. If your lugs are wider than 24mm, this strap is not for you. If you fall within those sizes, the length is calibrated for standard wrists: 115mm the long side, 75mm the short side, with a hole distribution for precise fit.
How do the colors vary between examples? Risk of getting one that’s completely different?
Color variations are intrinsic to the nature of leather — meaning no two greens are identical. But we’re talking about variations within the same green, not one that comes out brown. It’s like natural wood: it’s all wood, but every board has its own grain. If you want millimeter-perfect uniformity, lizard is not your material.
What’s the thickness? I need to know if it passes comfortably through the watch buckle.
